The Waggon and Horses is a friendly, independent pub on the edge of Millhouses Park. Open from 9:30 am daily, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re here for a hearty meal, a quick coffee, or a refreshing drink, we’ve got something for everyone.

Our menu features modern British pub food made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From comforting classics to seasonal specials, there’s plenty to choose from. The main menu is served from 12 noon until 9 pm. Breakfast is available every morning, and Sundays wouldn’t be complete without one of our delicious roasts. Pair your meal with a craft ale, a refreshing lager, or a G&T from our extensive gin selection.

Where family comes first

At The Waggon and Horses, family always comes first. Kids are welcome, and we even have a menu designed just for them. Dogs? Absolutely—our team loves four-legged visitors, and we’ll make sure they feel just as at home.

On sunny days, our beer garden is the place to be. Sit back, enjoy a drink, and take in the park views. Our cosy coffee cabin, open daily from 9 am during summer holidays, serves Dark Woods coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and cakes. Little ones can also enjoy a creamy Jersey Gold soft-serve ice cream or as a special treat they can visit our kids sweet shop.
