Nikka Whisky comes to The Waggon & Horses
For the first time ever, The Waggon & Horses will be hosting a True North Curator’s Club. On February 28, those in and around Sheffield (and further afield, if you’re up for the journey) will get a chance to learn all about the intriguing and unique history behind traditional Japanese whisky.
More than just a history lesson, the session will include free tastings and a chance to sample the very best Nikka Whisky. Alongside True North Brew Co’s resident spirit expert, Chris, attendees will be welcomed by a representative of Nikka as you spend the evening learning, laughing and picking up valuable knowledge that you can later show off to your friends.
Whether you’re a self-proclaimed whisky connoisseur or you don’t know your Nikka from your Jim Beam, you’re bound to learn something new. The Curator’s Club event is a perfect opportunity to spend an evening out with friends and offers a unique alternative for special occasions like birthdays.
The evening will begin at 7pm and will include a selection of at least 3 whiskies to taste. As the night goes on, you’ll feel yourself become a Nikka expert. At only £20 per person, this isn’t an opportunity you’ll want to miss out on. Be sure to book ahead and secure your space.
